Chrome Most Vulnerable Browser
According to CVE Detail, Google’s Chrome is the browser that showed most errors in its software in 2016, providing hackers with an opportunity to gain access to a system or network.
This, however, does not mean that Chrome users are facing a heightened danger of attacks on their system, as Google continuously releases bug fixes. 2016 bore less work for Apple employees working on Safari which showed the least errors in software.
While Firefox did not top the list of most vulnerable browsers in 2016, Mozilla’s flagship product remains the all-time leader with 1437 identified threats. This, however, is unsurprising, given that CVE began tracking potential threats to Firefox in 2003. Chrome’s history begins in 2008.
