Who's Taking Their Fair Share Of Syrian Refugees?

About 350 people were evacuated from rebel enclaves in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Sunday. Seven-year-old Bana Alabed gathered global attention following her tweets from the city and she was among those who made it to safety. Conditions in Aleppo are dire and thousands more people are waiting to be evacuated.

When it comes to the countries doing their fair share to help Syrian refugees, Canada is at the very top of the list according to Oxfam. By comparing the "fair share" each country ought to take based on the size of its economy, the charity found that Canada comes first with 248 percent. The United Kingdom and the United States were much further down the list with 22 and 10 percent respectively.
