Can the Wii U Revive the Video Game Industry?

Video game hardware sales have declined significantly for the past twelve months. In October 2012, hardware sales came in 37 percent below last year’s total, as the industry is suffering from lack of innovation and increasing competition from devices such as smartphones and tablets.
