171 million Americans are going to celebrate Halloween this year and they are going to spend a lot of money in the process. This year, total spending in the U.S. is going to reach $8.4 billion, an all-time high according to the National Retail Federation. 70 percent of people are going to hand out candy on October 31, while 45.6 percent will carve a pumpkin.
