Voice Calls
Typing Is The New Talking
Over the last few years the amount of people making regular voice calls with their smartphones has decreased substantially. With the rise of free messenger services such as WhatsApp, UK users are increasingly turning their backs on the good old traditional phone call. In 2012, 96 percent of those surveyed by Deloitte said they made a voice call at least once per week. Since then, this share has fallen to 69 percent. Whether people will start to long for the familiar voice on the other end of the line once again still remains to be seen.
