British students are late foreign language learners
Yesterday was European Languages Day and to mark the occasion, Statista produced the infographic below for the indy100. It certainly offers an insight into why students from the United Kingdom are lagging behind Europe in learning foreign languages. While 80 percent of all European primary school children were learning a foreign language in 2014, British students weren't among them, according to Eurostat.
