Commercial Use of Drones

Americans Wary of Drone Delivery

As drone technology advances, something that seemed like science fiction just a couple of years ago might soon become a reality. Both Google and Amazon are working on drone delivery solutions that could potentially revolutionize the world of logistics.

While companies seem to agree that drones are the future of food and package delivery, consumers appear to be less convinced. According to a recent YouGov survey in the United States, 4 in 10 Americans can’t see themselves trusting any drone delivery service.

When it comes to specific companies that could potentially offer drone delivery, consumers have most faith in Amazon and their ability to pull it off, as today’s chart illustrates.
