UK's gender pay gap narrowing but gulf remains

The UK still has a massive gender gap when it comes to salary. According to research from the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), women earn 18 percent less than men on average. That grows even further after women have children. The report also suggested that male managers have a 40 percent higher chance of being promoted than their female counterparts.
