What Clinton Supporters Would Expect from the 1st Female US President

The Democratic National Convention kicks off in Philadelphia on Monday. Almost certainly, Hillary Clinton will be nominated to take on the Republican standard-bearer Donald Trump in the presidential race. She is by far less controversial than her GOP counterpart.

However, her supporters seem to be more of the realist kind, unlike those supporting her rival for the White House. Much fewer saying that she will perform a lot better than sitting president Barack Obama. This isn't all that surprising, as he's from the same camp as Clinton.

Clinton fans think there are two policy areas in which the first female US president has a substantial chance of bringing about change for the better, in the health care sector and in foreign relations.

The convention runs from July 25 to 28, 2016
