Where women have to wear religious attire

Around the world, 50 countries regulated women’s religious attire in 2012 and 2013. 12 of them required women to wear a certain dress while 39 had had laws limiting attire. Although Russia bans headscarves, hijabs or niqabs in Stavropol, the county has laws requiring hijabs in public buildings in Chechnya. This chart was recently featured in the indy100.
