Brexit's Financial Impact On Voters

International markets were plunged into chaos last week after Britain's shock vote to leave the EU. Although the long term consequences of the Brexit are currently unclear, Remain voters are already fretting about their finances. A recent YouGov poll has shown that eight out of every 10 people who voted Remain think that Britain's financial situation will worsen over the next 12 months. 56 percent of Remain voters also expect their household's financial situation to deteriorate.

The Brexit Blues have not affected Leave voters to the same extent. They are far more optimistic about Britain's financial future with 32 percent of respondents expecting the situation to improve over the next 12 months. When it comes to individual households, most Brexiteers think their situation will remain unchanged.
