Britain's exports: what are they and where do they go?

According to data from the Office of National Statistics, over half of British exports go to countries in the European Union. In 2015, Britain's exports to the EU were worth £133 billion compared to £45 billion to the United States. If the UK votes to leave the EU, it would probably still be able to negotiate access to its biggest export market, though it may lose some control regarding rules and how they are set.
