The EU Parliaments With The Most Female Participation

In the United Kingdom, newly elected Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn recently attracted criticism for giving the majority of senior jobs in his new Shadow Cabinet to men. However, the overall picture is far more positive with women making up over half of the UK's Shadow Cabinet for the first time in history. The same can't really be said of parliaments across the European Union. Even though some countries such as Sweden and Finland have a high rate of gender equality, men make up 71 percent of national parliaments in the EU.
