The Cheapest Cities Worldwide To Drink A Beer
Where in the world do you get the best bang for your buck on a bottle of beer? According to research conducted by GoEuro, the Polish city of Krakow and Kiev, Ukraine's capital, are the cheapest places in the world to indulge in beer. Both have an overall beer price of $1.66 for a 33cl bottle, slightly ahead of third-placed Bratislava's $1.69. GoEuro's ranking takes into account the price of a beer in both a bar and a supermarket. In Krakow, for example, a bottle of beer costs just $0.62 in a supermarket and this rises to an average of $2.70 in a bar.
