Where Food Preparation Leads To Food Poisoning
Food plays a huge role when it comes to making the most of the summer season, whether it involves cooking on the barbecue or preparing a salad. However, some unlucky people will end up experiencing some form of food poisoning, displaying symptoms that include nausea, diarrhea, fever and dehydration. Every year, foodborne illnesses costs the US economy somewhere between $52 billion and $78 billion, according to some estimates. Reported illnesses from food occur most frequently in restaurants with nearly 4,500 cases in 2013 according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.
