Larger Accommodations in Europe See Better Business Development All-round

The 3rd edition of the European Accommodation Barometer shows that in Europe, the more employees an accommodation has, the better its perception of business development is. 94% of European accommodations with 250 employees or more reported good or very good business development in the last 6 months, compared to just 59% of accommodations with fewer than 10 employees that reported the same. The same can be observed with regard to the developments of average daily rates (ADRs) and occupancy rates.

This and other insights regarding the recovery of European tourism and the sentiment of EU hoteliers are included in the Fall 2023 European Accommodation Barometer, the third study of hoteliers conducted by Statista in collaboration with Booking.com, surveying accommodation executives and managers from across Europe.
