European accommodations adapt to changing food and beverage preferences
In a survey of 940 European accommodations that serve food and drink, 71% of the respondents indicated that sustainably and regionally sourced food was becoming increasingly important for their business. According to the study, this trend topped both reducing plastic packaging and vegan/vegetarian food options.
The Fall 2023 European Accommodation Barometer is the third study of hoteliers conducted by Statista in collaboration with Booking.com, surveying accommodation executives and managers from across Europe.
