Travel has Evolved as Impact of Pandemic Waned

A three year hiatus has given all of us time to pause and think about what travel really means. We are growing more mindful of impacts of our trips on the environment and communities at destinations we visit. One Booking.com survey found that 75% of travelers seek authentic experiences that are representative of the local culture and four in five indicate that traveling more sustainably is important to them. Meanwhile 40% don’t know how or where to find travel options that give back to the local community and half don’t believe there are enough sustainable options.

However, many travellers are also looking to re-engage with travel and make up for trips that were delayed or cancel during the pandemic. In fact 10% of travellers admit that they are have taken a longer vacation than usual.
