Travel and Tourism Contribute Greatly to Europe’s Economies
In Europe, Croatia relies most heavily on travel and tourism, which accounted for a quarter of the country’s GDP in 2019. In Europe’s largest economies, such as Germany, France, and the UK, travel and tourism accounted for just under one-tenth of GDP, which makes it one of the biggest sectors in these economies and a major source of national income.
