9,382 Drake Lifetimes of Streaming

Drake is the most streamed artist of all-time, at least on Spotify, with his songs having been played over 46 billion times. To be very precise: 46,078,724,541 times as of April 19, 2022 according to ChartMasters. With a number that large it becomes unfathomable just how popular Drake's music is, so at Statista we tried to convert that figure into one involving less than ten digits...

When taking the average song length from his two most recent albums (03:48), Statista estimates that (assuming each song is listened to in full), 46.1 billion streams would be equal to about 175 billion minutes of listening time. Okay, so that's heading in the wrong direction. What about if we convert that to Drake lifetimes? Stay with us.

Taking into account Drake's age as of April 19, and working out how many minutes that means he's been on Earth so far, the musical fruits of his labor have been listened to a still astonishing equivalent of 9,382 Drake lifetimes. Now imagine creating something which the world consumed for over 9,000 times as long as you'd graced the planet. That's how popular Drake's music is.
