UK Smartphone Sales Are Dominated By Android

According to Statista's featured infographic in the Independent, Android rules the smartphone market in the United Kingdom with a share of almost 60 percent, far ahead of Apple's 27 percent. The expensive iPhone 6 will have a difficult task in a market flooded with low-cost Android handsets. Windows has a 10 percent slice of the market while BlackBerry is struggling with just over one percent.
