Biden Slipping Down the Polls

A new NBC News poll has revealed a damning 71 percent of American adults think the country is currently heading in the wrong direction and, judging by Joe Biden's tumbling approval rating, the President is shouldering most of the responsibility in the eyes of the people.

Back in April, Biden enjoyed majority approval according to NBC, but this 53 percent had degraded to 49 percent by August and hit 42 percent in the latest survey in October. The President's handling of the economy is one of the most damaging factors measured, with just 40 percent voicing their approval of performance in that area. When it comes to the coronavirus crisis, Biden clings on to a majority 51 percent approval but this is in stark contrast to the 69 percent recorded in April.
