UK Covid cases on the rise

Downing Street has confirmed that Boris Johnson will announce his decision on the 21 June easing of restrictions at a press conference at 6pm today, with a delay expected to be confirmed as former chief scientific adviser Professor Sir Mark Walport has warned the UK is “in the grip of the early stages of a third wave”.
