Video Game Streaming

America's Premier Video Game Streaming Sites

Over the past five years or so, live video game streaming has become increasingly popular. Twitch was the early frontrunner in the popularity stakes and it was later joined by others such as YouTube Gaming. The practice has had a major impact on the video games industry, helping to garner heightened attention for obscure titles and niche genres.

So, has Twitch managed to keep its dominant position in the streaming market? The answer to that question is yes, according to data from the Statista Global Consumer Survey. 59 percent of U.S. gamers say they used Twitch in the last 12 months, ahead of YouTube Gaming's 50 percent. The next biggest player is Facebook gaming which has been used by a quarter of gamers over the past year.
