Android Dominates UK Smartphone Sales

Android devices dominate the smartphone market in the United Kingdom. By May 2014, smartphones running Android accounted for an impressive 60 percent of overall sales, some distance ahead of iOS with 29 percent. Windows came third with a 9.1 percent sales share while struggling Blackberry could only manage 1.1 percent. Android is continuing its dominance from last year when it accounted for more than half of all British smartphone sales.
