Who Spoke The Most In The Vice Presidential Debate?

Last night's vice presidential debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris was a much more amicable affair than the contest between President Trump and Joe Biden eight days ago, with both candidates striking a civil tone while delivering their points. Harris lambasted the Trump administration for its handling of the coronavirus, stating that it was “the greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history of our country”.

Mike Pence forcefully defended the way the White House has handled the situation and he sought to portray the Biden-Harris ticket as extreme. So, who had the most speaking time over the course of the 90 minute debate? CNN tracked it, finding that Pence and Harris spoke for almost exactly the same amount of time.
