Majority of Americans are Scared of Contracting Covid-19

After leaving Walter Reed Medical Center yesterday, President Trump had a positive message for the American people after the first few days of his experience with Covid-19: “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.”

As survey data from YouGov shows though, the majority of American adults fear contracting Covid-19 to some degree - either "Very" or "Somewhat". This figure has been above fifty percent almost constantly since the end of March.
