Then & Now: America's Standing With Allies & Partners
A new Pew Research Center survey has found that America's standing with its most important allies and partners has declined significantly in recent years, falling to levels not seen since the 2003 invasion of Iraq in Germany and France. Favorability levels have noticeably declined overseas since President Trump took office and that trend has accelerated due to America's botched handling of the coronavirus outbreak. This infographic compares U.S. favorability across eight key countries at the turn of the century and today, with a steep decline evident everywhere apart from South Korea.
