Half Of Americans Believe Trump Disparaged U.S. War Dead

President Trump found himself embroiled in yet another controversy last week when a report in the Atlantic claimed he had referred to dead U.S. soldiers as "suckers" and "losers" during a 2018 trip to France. Trump quickly denied the claims and the question of whether they are accurate or not has divided the public

A recent YouGov poll has found that half of Americans believe the content in the Atlantic piece while 31 percent consider the accusations false with the rest unsure. Unsurprisingly, the partistan divide is immense with 77 percent of Democrats believing Trump disparaged U.S. war dead and 71 percent of Republicans stating that he did not.
