UK lockdown causes surge in DIY haircuts?

I was already a couple of weeks overdue for a trim when the government closed hair salons around the country. While I haven't personally asked the internet for tips on how to take this problem into my own hands (yet), Google Trends figures show that interest in the search term ' how to cut own hair' peaked in March the day after the UK's nationwide lockdown was announced.

It's hardly the biggest problem facing the country during this crisis, but it certainly poses an interesting dilemma for a large share of the population. If you do decide to pick up the scissors, I wish you good luck and in any case good health.
