U.S. Public Confident Coronavirus Can Be Contained

A new Gallup found has found that 77 percent of Americans are confident in the government's ability to handle a coronavirus outbreak. That's a higher level of confidence than Gallup has found for previous health scares. For example, 64 percent of Americans felt confident that Zika could be contained in 2017 while 58 percent had faith in the government to prevent an Ebola pandemic in 2014.
