Climate Change
Bulk of U.S. Adults Say Climate Change Impacts Them
A majority of U.S. adults say their local community is impacted by climate change, according to Pew Research Center. The study, conducted October 1 to 13, found that 61 percent of adults think climate change affects their community at least some.
While most Americans seem to be affected by climate change, it has not been one of the top talking points during the 2020 presidential debates. According to the New York Times in November, climate change has been discussed a little more than 32 minutes over six nights, or nearly 11 hours, of debates since June. Candidates instead have spent more time talking about immigration, foreign policy and health care.
