Germany's best & worst cities for household income

There are major differences in income levels in major German cities. A study by the Hans Böckler Foundation earlier this year found that Munich has the highest levels of household income in Germany at €29,685 per inhabitant, followed by Stuttgart and Dusseldorf. Dresden and Leipzig in the former GDR come third and second last while Duisburg is rock bottom. All three have a household income of less than €20,000 per inhabitant.
