BTS Has An Unrivaled Twitter Fan Base

The BTS fan base of 22 million followers is like no other. Despite having far fewer followers on Twitter than other popular artists like Taylor Swift, BTS has millions of more mentions per week. According to Next Big Sound, BTS received more than 12.4 million mentions from November 11 to November 17. It's all thanks to their active community, better known as the BTS Army.

In the same time frame, Swift, who has 85.1 million followers, garnered just over 565,100 mentions. Former One Direction member Harry Styles, who appeared on "Saturday Night Live" November 16 and has 33.6 million followers, amassed less than 500,000 mentions. Ariana Grande, who has more than 67.4 million followers, accumulated 387,000 mentions. Other top artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, who have 80.3 million and 107.3 million followers, respectively, attracted less than 100,000 mentions from their fans.
