Price of Ad-free Streaming Services Cost Monthly
Disney is gearing up to launch their Disney+ streaming service on November 12, which will cost viewers $6.99 per month. It’s one of the most competitive prices, only beaten by Apple TV+ at $4.99 per month.
Disney has been promoting the ad-free service for weeks, enticing potential customers with their library of blockbuster movies. But not all Disney favorites will be included, CNBC reported November 7. Because of previous agreements with other services, films like “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” “Coco” and the live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast” won’t appear.
AT&T is also ready to make their foray in the world of TV streaming with HBO Max in May. All HBO shows will be included, along with movies and specials HBO has the rights to. That means “Game of Thrones” will likely be on the same platform as shows like “Friends” and “South Park.”
Unlike Disney+ and Apple TV+, HBO Max’s is fee of $14.99 per month is one of the priciest streaming options, only surpassed by Netflix’s premium service, which cost $15.99 per month.
