Canada: Trudeau Set to Form Minority Government

Despite having likely lost the popular vote, Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party has managed to win the most seats in last night's federal election in Canada. After a scandal-hit first term though, the prime minister has thrown away his 2015 majority, losing 29 seats in the process. 13 seats short of an absolute victory, Trudeau is now set to form a minority government having said in a speech that his party has "a clear mandate" to govern.
