Despite his plea to go easy on him, Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden came in for a debate drubbing by his fellow candidates last night, as the stragglers in the crowded 2020 field attempted to pull themselves back into the race. Harris also came under pressure from Gabbard, who went after her record as Attorney General of California. This was also reflected in the time each candidate got with the microphone. As Washington Post analysis shows, Biden grabbed 20 minutes, while Harris got almost 18, leaving the others fighting for scraps, trying to make an impact as quickly as they could.
