Who Dominated the First Democratic Debate?

The first televised Democratic debate, which involved ten of the 2020 candidates, took place last night in Miami. The subjective analysis is still ongoing as to who 'won' - and who 'lost', but one thing which we can objectively measure is who dominated the air time the most. As this chart shows, The Washington Post recorded the number of minutes spoken by each of the hopefuls, with Cory Booker coming out on top with almost 11 minutes. Beto O'Rourke managed to grab the spotlight for just over 10 minutes, while rising favourite Elizabeth Warren got 9 minutes. Less successful in this regard were Jay Inslee (5 minutes) and Bill de Blasio (6 minutes).
