A survey from 2022 indicated that European consumers were rather skeptical towards using smart lockers when their parcel could not be delivered home.
Some 58 percent of Dutch consumers were not willing to use this out-of-home (OOH) delivery option, and 54 percent of consumers in Belgium thought the same. French shoppers ranked third, with 52 percent of surveyed respondents not eager to use smart lockers.
