What's stopping UK drivers from buying an electric car?
A survey published by the AA today has shed light on the hurdles still in the way for UK motorists when it comes to switching over and buying a battery-powered car. At the top of the list, with 35 percent is the price. Over a third of the AA members said that an electric car would have to cost the same or less than a petrol/diesel car before they considered a purchase. Of almost equal importance is the range, with 33 percent saying they would want to cover at least 250 miles on one charge.
