Bud Light is America's Best-Selling Domestic Beer

Driven by major sponsorship deals with the National Hockey League and Major League Baseball, Bud Light is the best selling beer in the United States by some distance. In 2012, Americans bought a whopping 269 million cases of Bud Light with total sales amounting to $5.45 billion.

Budweiser and Coors Light are tied in second place with 102 million cases sold, and total sales of $2.06 billion. Miller Lite and Natural Light come fourth and fifth with total sales of $1.72 and $1.11 billion respectively. In 2012, Americans purchased 87 million cases of Miller Lite and 72 million cases of Natural Light.
