The U.S. Cities with the Fastest Growing Home Prices
According to recent analysis by Point2 Homes, over the last five years the large U.S. city with the biggest jump in average home price has been Detroit. Prices in Motor City very nearly doubled from 2013 to 2018 - miles ahead of second-placed San Francisco with 69 percent and third-placed Seattle with 66 percent. Three NYC boroughs - Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens - also feature in the top ten with 54, 52 and 52 percent increases, respectively.
