Trump Has Played 138% More Golf Than Obama

Two years into his term, President Trump has been dogged by accusations that he is not spending enough time on the job. Critics have said that he usually comes into the office after 11am compared to Obama who worked out in the morning and arrived before 10 and George W. Bush who started his day at 6:45am. A recent MSNBC report cited Washington Post data that shows Trump has played 138 percent more golf than his predecessor.

That comes despite Trump criticizing Obama's golfing outings while he was on the campaign trail. He said "Obama ought to get off the golf course" and that "he's played more golf than most people on the PGA tour". In his first year, Trump played 75 rounds of gold compared to Obama's 31. In his second year in office, Trump again played more than twice as many rounds of golf as his predecessor, 63 in total.
