Moscow Commuters Spend 127 Hours Stuck in Traffic Each Year

According to TomTom’s traffic index, Moscow suffers the most traffic congestion in Europe. The Russian capital has a peak hourly delay of 74 minutes. Residents with a 30 minute commute can expect to be stuck in traffic for an incredible 127 hours each year.

Istanbul comes second for European gridlock – drivers experience 118 hours of delays during their annual commute. Warsaw rounds off the three worst European cities for congestion. Commuters can expect an hourly delay of 55 minutes during peak periods and an annual delay amounting to 110 hours.
