Where Belief in Climate Change is Highest & Lowest

South Korea has a high share of people who believe that human activity has an influence on climate change. 86 percent said so in a survey by Ipsos which quizzed 20,590 people aged 16-74 in 29 countries. The result was the highest after Hungary, where 91 percent agreed with the statement.

The United States, on the other hand, remains one of the countries where fewer people hold the same belief. About two thirds of respondents in the U.S. believed that human activity is contributing to climate change. Notably, Japan ranks below the United States with only around half respondents agreeing that humans are contributing to climate change and 30 percent choosing to remain neutral on the question.
