First in, first out: UK workers prefer an early start

The classic 9 to 5 working life is, according to a new YouGov survey, far from desirable for a large share of UK employees. When asked what their ideal full-time working hours would be, the most popular shift was 8am to 4pm (37 percent), followed by 7am to 3pm (21 percent).
