Mueller Investigation
What's in Mueller's Evidence?
In anticipation of former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort’s trial, the Mueller investigation has released an itemized list of over 500 pieces of evidence. Mueller is building a case for convicting Manafort on counts of bank and tax fraud. Manafort has pleaded not guilty, and his defense team is trying to push back the trial date by several months.
The evidence includes Yankee tickets, purchases of oriental rugs and a Mercedes-Benz, along with Airbnb stays. The prosecution has gathered extensive material on Manafort’s lobbying work for the pro-Kremlin Ukrainian government. While this is an exhaustive list, Mueller’s team reserves the right to present any additional, relevant evidence during the trial as well.
