Emojis
What Words Won't Say ¯\_(ツ)_/ ¯
Have you ever been mid-text, searched for a kangaroo emoji and couldn’t find it? How about a lobster or a head of lettuce? Well, all those emoji related problems are now solved. Apple rolled out a new set of emojis for “World Emoji Day” and they now include everything from bald emojis to peacocks.
While these new emojis are fancier, SwiftyKey reports that the core emojis—happy, sad, and heart-- remain the most common, making up around three quarters of overall emoji use. Different languages also show preferences for certain emojis. French speaking emoji-users hold true to their namesake as the language of love by sending hearts over four times more than everyone else. <3
