U.S./Russia Summit

What Should Trump Discuss With Putin?

There are a great number of potential talking points for President Trump and President Putin when they meet today. When asked whether he would discuss the extradition of 12 Russians recently indicted over a 2016 election hack, Trump admitted he hadn't thought about it but that he might broach the topic. According to a new Morning Consult survey, the U.S. public also doesn't think such topics ought to be at the top of the agenda, with only 42 percent saying the U.S. president should talk about the investigation into Russia's influence on the 2016 presidential election. The most popular discussion point appears to be Russian violations of an arms treaty between the United States and Russia.
