The number of constituencies with over 60% Yes

Things are changing radically in Ireland with the public voting Yes to same-sex marriage and the legalization of abortion in two recent referendums. As part of a feature on TheJournal.ie, Statista helped visualize how the two historic votes compare. During the same-sex referendum in 2015, there were 43 constituencies and 25 of them had a Yes vote of 60 percent or higher. Out of 40 constituencies in the abortion referendum last month, 30 had a Yes vote of over 60 percent.
